Profile

Folk Architects was founded in 2011 by longstanding friends Tim Wilson and Christie Petsinis, inspired to create places that engage with people.

Our approach is to activate spaces by integrating art, design, science and technology in a way that is collaborative, innovative, pragmatic yet playful.

We, Folk are compassionate about the fragility of our environment and economic climate, and are committed to realising projects that provide a positive legacy that extends beyond the physical dimension of architecture.

Within a relatively short period the oeuvre of Folk’s projects include:

Medhurst Winery
2012 Australian Institute of Architects (Victoria) – Commercial Architecture Award
